BAD HAIR DAY 2008

This year's Bad Hair Day is now over and generated a staggering £12,240 from the 28 schools who took part. If you are one of those schools a HUGE thank you from all the children here at the hospice.  perhaps next year even more schools could take up this challenge?

This is what we did...

BAD HAIR DAY is a fun way that Schools can support the Children's Hospice by allowing pupils to attend school on a specific date with "Bad Hair"!

How it Works

In return for a donation to the Children’s Hospice, pupils can attend school on a specific date with “Bad Hair”. This can be as simple or as extreme as you allow. From spiking their hair to colouring it or just wearing a fun wig how the child develops his or her bad hair is part of the fun.

You decide when you would like to stage your “Bad Hair Day” (there is space on the posters we will send you for you to add your own date).

We suggest you organise the day to be on a Friday as this gives the pupils the weekend to get their hair back to normal and we have picked Friday 29 February as our official Bad Hair Day for 2008
